- The centre is located in the village of Horská Kvilda, situated in the most beautiful area of the Šumava Plains, at an altitude around 1070 metres.
- The centre’s main activities are residential environmental-education programmes for primary and secondary schools as well as universities. These programmes, focusing on the Šumava nature, take place in the gorgeous surroundings of the centre. A classroom is available in the building in case of inclement weather.
- The centre’s capacity is 48 guests.
- In addition to school group stays, we also organise public educational programmes, such as lectures, discussions, field trips, workshops, etc.
National Park Šumava is the best open-air classroom.
